Drexel at the Philly Marathon!

On Sunday , November 22nd, some members and students from the CGTSPS came out to join the Drexel team in volunteering to cheer for the runners of the Philly Marathon!

Congratulations to both the runners and those who came out to cheer the runners on! Thank you for all of your help, and enjoy the break!

Coffee Talk Series: Fashion Industry During the Recession

This last Friday, November 20th, the CGTSPS hosted a Coffee Talk dealing with the fashion industry in the time of recession. Professor Joe Hancock came to discuss the state of the fashion industry during these tough economic times. Coffee and cookies were provided!

Commuter Thanksgiving Luncheon

This past Thursday, the 8th Annual Thanksgiving Luncheon for students in their first year at Drexel took place in Bossone!

First-year commuter and transfer students were invited to enjoy a full Thanksgiving meal on Thursday. The event included a fun game of Quizzo and a HUGE Thanksgiving feast!

This week, new commuter & transfer students had the chance to meet their Commuter & Transfer Assistants! After receiving emails from these students since the start of the term, students finally had the chance to connect witht their CA or TA.

On Thursday, September 24th, Commuter Graduate and Transfer Student Programs and Services hosted an annual Welcome Back Week event: Budget Gourmet: Commuter Cooking Demonstration.

The event took place in the Private Dining Room from 12:30-1:30pm, and featured Chef Bob Jackson, one of the Executive Chefs with Chestnut Street Catering.
